The Canadian MPN Group is a collaborative effort to improve the care and research in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms.
Foremost among our goals is to establish a team of clinical, laboratory and scientific professionals from across Canada who wish to contribute to furthering our understanding of MPNs by sharing best practices and participating in clinical and laboratory research.
Through our website and other communication initiatives, we will promote the education of health care professionals and patients on MPNs and provide a platform for inter-professional collaboration.
The Canadian MPN Group was made possible through a generous donation by Tony and Elizabeth Comper.
Our ultimate goal is to ensure comprehensive access to good quality care for Canadians with MPN, unify practices across the country, develop new care delivery models and provide access to novel therapies.
The Canadian MPN Group will also promote Canada’s leading role in MPN research and help to prepare future leaders in this important disease area.
We value collaboration, patient-centred care, leadership and entrepreneurship.
